I received the boxes below for review. I am always up to trying new foods!

I loved all of these, they are like regular pasta but healthier for you. They have a mild taste to them so you can pretty much make anything out of these as you would your typical high gluten pastas. My favorite of the bunch was the Organic Red Lentil Penne. I love the subtle flavor of lentils and I was able to create this really tasty dish with it.

This simple Chicken Alfredo with a Cajun Twist was simple to make, it took minutes using jarred sauces but tasted like I spent a lot more effort.

Chicken Alfredo with a Cajun Twist

1 Large boneless, skinless chicken breast diced in small pieces
1 Box of Explore Cuisine's Organic Red Lentil Penne
1 Jar of Alfredo sauce
2 tbs. of Jarred red pesto sauce
1 Minced garlic clove
Crushed red pepper
Cajun Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Parmesan cheese
Chopped green onion
Olive oil

Cook your pasta according to box directions. While it is cooking put some olive oil in a large pan and add the garlic on medium heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and S&P and place in pan. Cook chicken until no longer pink. Add the entire jar of Alfredo sauce and continue to cook. Add 2 tablespoons of the red pesto sauce and mix together. Add some crushed red pepper to taste. Once the pasta is cooked and has been drained add to the sauce mixture. Mix together making sure that the pasta is completely coated with sauce. Serve with Parmesan cheese and chopped green onions.
