First of all I love the cookbook you receive in each box, it is always a different theme, but filled with recipes that look delicious and are easy to make. I am a cookbook collector so I love getting a new cookbook to try out some recipes and to display on my shelf. <div><br /></div><div>The items that were sent in this box were premium gadgets and multi-purpose tools. Like this<b> Kitchen Innovations 3-In-1 Slotted Turner (</b>center<b>)</b>. This spatula flips food, has a silicone edge for scraping on one side and a serrated edge on the other that cuts through foods. It is really convenient and well made. </div><div><br /></div><div>The <b>Joie Steamer Basket (</b>right) is a collapsible colander that fits easily into your kitchen drawer. It is made of silicone and the perfect size for straining veggies. </div><div><br /></div><div>The <b>Zulay Premium Apple Corer (</b>bottom left) not only cores apples, but you can also use on pears, bell peppers, even cupcakes! It is made of sturdy stainless steel and doubles as a pitter and seed remover. This is a tool I was excited about receiving because it is something I would never think of buying but is great to have on hand. </div><div><br /></div><div>The <b>Kitchen Innovations Silicone Lid (</b>top left) can be used as a bowl cover, a splatter guard, a saucepan lid and for reheating in the microwave. It has a functional raised handle but takes up little space in your drawer. </div><div><br /></div><div>The <b>Honey Dipper & Spreader </b>(center) I thought was so cute. It is s small spoon perfect for dipping, drizzling and spreading honey. Made out of beechwood, it can also be used for glazing and icing. </div><div><br /></div><div>The<b> Zulay Parchment Sheets </b>(left) are small parchment squares perfect for baking cookies, wrapping homemade treats and as liners. These tasty chocolate bars come in both milk and dark chocolate. the dark chocolate option contains only 1g of sugar and is only 3 net carbs while the milk chocolate option contains 4g of sugar and only 4 net carbs. This is just a teeny amount compared to some other popular chocolate bars. I have to admit I was a little worried about whether or not I would like the taste of this chocolate but I did! It is creamy and taste like...well, really good chocolate. They are also about the size of a Hershey's bar so you are getting the same size snack in a better for your version. Chris is a chocolate fiend so I knew in order to seal the deal with this chocolate I had to get his stamp of approval. They call themselves a Filipino American Craft Eatery. Urban Island serves Filipino favorites and Filipino twists on American foods and they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My mom and I stopped in on a whim on a Friday evening. It was full and we were seated at a small table by the entrance. Not exactly the most comfortable spot. We were informed that breakfast was available all day. Apparently their traditional island breakfasts and twists on breakfast classics are popular. However, we decided to skip breakfast and order off the rest of the menu. They have several cocktails on the menu. We tried the<b> Tita Margarita</b>, a twist on a classic Margarita with the addition of calamansi juice and the <b>Pointing Lips</b> a mango juice, calamansi juice and vodka concoction. We both decided we don't like calamansi juice. It is bitter and over powered the drinks. If you are not sure what calmansi is, it is a citrus fruit popular in Filipino and South East Asian cooking. It is very tart and bitter. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_MPNdVI6EgiuhivXatFR2fEsl7U7Pbn7OHY4gysitcEJqJ2uojmhtk5COlnHVdqaWDR9xJ0vXODypqoKNRuDYVe-GWCGXpwJ7kDZNFlYEjkoybk99t5DcgiUe3Om4T2NKgnyBPfv3HoYOtjgZbcKDZkcAj0AWqnTylvgj2kLhjBrzofRz2eeh0636/s4000/20230311_172745.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_MPNdVI6EgiuhivXatFR2fEsl7U7Pbn7OHY4gysitcEJqJ2uojmhtk5COlnHVdqaWDR9xJ0vXODypqoKNRuDYVe-GWCGXpwJ7kDZNFlYEjkoybk99t5DcgiUe3Om4T2NKgnyBPfv3HoYOtjgZbcKDZkcAj0AWqnTylvgj2kLhjBrzofRz2eeh0636/w640-h480/20230311_172745.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>We also ordered two appetizers. I was not a fan of this sandwich. It had a strange blue chees-y taste to it which was peculiar because it does not say it contains blue cheese. The fries were under salted. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI7UgXP7zJucTqqJ3niuBghuZWXtwcQhA9JBARk5GdRS1vAqpLIaLg5NINOabKYhQ6ZpgFseXafRoC2R4OsZDWkaLyt_Zi7Wdf7GPaMkcbpSU8NQ8gjjy8NBoS6bor-I7eISdpGuc9KnhgbLCGNmr0N9JNTtxdGAbEHfqYk5JB0gqxJUu2dBs3C39y/s4000/20230311_173730.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI7UgXP7zJucTqqJ3niuBghuZWXtwcQhA9JBARk5GdRS1vAqpLIaLg5NINOabKYhQ6ZpgFseXafRoC2R4OsZDWkaLyt_Zi7Wdf7GPaMkcbpSU8NQ8gjjy8NBoS6bor-I7eISdpGuc9KnhgbLCGNmr0N9JNTtxdGAbEHfqYk5JB0gqxJUu2dBs3C39y/w640-h480/20230311_173730.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>I ordered the <b>Sizzling Sisig. </b>Sisig is a popular filipino dish made with pork and seasoned with calamansi, chilis, onion, garlic and vinegar. This one was made with diced pork belly and then topped with a fried egg. It was served with a side of their rice. I believe the rice was flavored with turmeric, it was just okay. My mom and I agreed that every food item we tried could definitely use a bit more seasoning in it, a little salt goes a long way. All in all we were not that impressed with Urban Island, I would like to return and try some of the breakfast items though. </p><div style="text-align: left;"><a href="https://theurban-island.com/"><b>Urban Island</b></a></div><div style="text-align: left;">27423 Ynez Rd. </div><div style="text-align: left;">Temecula, CA 92591</div><div style="text-align: left;">951-587-0050</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-24381273659477906202023-04-10T09:13:00.001-07:002023-04-10T09:13:10.127-07:00Cajun Chicken Pasta<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitTiyh8yFqV_jHYKAWma1KFX7JpNYFmtfAqARe7MMuvIozhNYNBbzTx2gRNXihg_D6W2p4AK3lmebDN5HlS6PfDkfXOMzf4cZa-A9haKOlwXwjAg5zvj9SnG4dmgLNI0BZSrUVFyvl6mVqGk4BgedCRT4saNWbXWOLEZj5WYkyiwD4YCZzAV9kPgBP/s4000/Cajun%20Chicken%20Pasta.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitTiyh8yFqV_jHYKAWma1KFX7JpNYFmtfAqARe7MMuvIozhNYNBbzTx2gRNXihg_D6W2p4AK3lmebDN5HlS6PfDkfXOMzf4cZa-A9haKOlwXwjAg5zvj9SnG4dmgLNI0BZSrUVFyvl6mVqGk4BgedCRT4saNWbXWOLEZj5WYkyiwD4YCZzAV9kPgBP/w480-h640/Cajun%20Chicken%20Pasta.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><p><br /></p><b><u>Cajun Chicken Pasta</u></b><p></p><div style="text-align: left;">1 8 to 12 oz. pkg. In a large skillet heat olive oil and add chicken. Cook for about 6 minutes on each side until they are no longer pink and fully cooked. Remove chicken and transfer to a cutting board to slice into strips. In the same skillet over medium heat add butter and onions and cook until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and 1/2 cup of the pasta water, Parmesan cheese and more Cajun seasoning and stir. Reduce heat to low and add the noodles to skillet and stir. If the sauce is too thick you can add a little more pasta water if needed. Add the chicken and toss to combine. I was searching the internet for a place to stop along the way and enjoy some lunch when I came across <a href="https://www.yaks.com/onthe5">Yaks on the 5</a>. Yaks on the 5 is featured on Yelp's top 100 list and serves gourmet burgers and beer among other things. I also hear they are famous for their sticky buns. We stopped in Dunsmuir, CA to try out this spot. Dunsmuir is a small city in Northern California along the I-5, blink and you will miss it, unless you know about Yaks because it was packed when we arrived midday for lunch. Dunsmuir is quaint and attracts the outdoorsy crowd, specifically for its fishing. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJp85rZdePwSZvr9QPJHtyPpSIibdFry1NrkfW2j7aE7wu7IazGyK215jM171M7HCknQyjJIgPsH7GuvnRbvZb2-uUj6LB9woS6CM0jAv-bW5oM4tEoG56WyTAxQx-KaBsaFGGxnUTeIOUYRqEhYOuj7dLLMlRMMpk4zlEfjCCClv53gPx1ceq6xPK/s4032/20220416_140110.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJp85rZdePwSZvr9QPJHtyPpSIibdFry1NrkfW2j7aE7wu7IazGyK215jM171M7HCknQyjJIgPsH7GuvnRbvZb2-uUj6LB9woS6CM0jAv-bW5oM4tEoG56WyTAxQx-KaBsaFGGxnUTeIOUYRqEhYOuj7dLLMlRMMpk4zlEfjCCClv53gPx1ceq6xPK/s320/20220416_140110.jpg" width="180" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlrpM6xe7uVPJLOLYMQrAzHqW_-rAhNNQflQmASLiqC3Sf29tjFZmfSG9Zd-XREPI1GEGzvsjOnNVN9geTDWAv_y0zzDgeJfhWVKmgnaTMluSObypHNUiZ1LnmF4DpIB2Eor2IhhL-uLeLKtbiA-OBhQrSudBDWdbBKM7If0ER-PqEDQUfY3Wx2eVU/s4032/20220416_140103.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlrpM6xe7uVPJLOLYMQrAzHqW_-rAhNNQflQmASLiqC3Sf29tjFZmfSG9Zd-XREPI1GEGzvsjOnNVN9geTDWAv_y0zzDgeJfhWVKmgnaTMluSObypHNUiZ1LnmF4DpIB2Eor2IhhL-uLeLKtbiA-OBhQrSudBDWdbBKM7If0ER-PqEDQUfY3Wx2eVU/s320/20220416_140103.jpg" width="180" /></a></div></div><br />Above is Yaks menu which consists of burgers, sandwiches, fries their smoked barbecue WINGS, they are big. <div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgcwKUlDQfclvaWLd6d6tmQEQRgRj24unCSrQGLBcwSNDsqxJUsklvSKVC80hATh4VmXA8AM2wTcEuutkuaa8DtXtfwOUXyJc3Z9qux6mKS_BbXbylCtDJ0qzVmYTONboZs3ozc7JB6zPPHGR2AoHwXysT2m4s7bfLnS7NT6sqeOXL7MoMYanGpjS7/s4032/20220416_140524.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgcwKUlDQfclvaWLd6d6tmQEQRgRj24unCSrQGLBcwSNDsqxJUsklvSKVC80hATh4VmXA8AM2wTcEuutkuaa8DtXtfwOUXyJc3Z9qux6mKS_BbXbylCtDJ0qzVmYTONboZs3ozc7JB6zPPHGR2AoHwXysT2m4s7bfLnS7NT6sqeOXL7MoMYanGpjS7/w640-h360/20220416_140524.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div>Chris ordered the <b>More Than Just A Peanut Butter Burger </b>with their homemade potato chips and was talked into trying one of their <b>Picked The Wrong Day To Quit Smoking Wings</b> covered in a homemade barbecue sauce and ranch drizzle. Bake for 50 minutes until toothpick inserted in the middle of casserole comes out clean. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOzDeDzrhrMYsLfmtSx6C8BCF77e9ko8weiX7zkfu75hPPfSdDkPplox2Mg5VsnNQ_iJN3UzYJUu8jD4OFtBz8LHO-JEIC2FeGeiXpO_AwqG0cuDBtetnHO_DBdpbW7aLrC3WqdVtxSqpwmmirH_UwVIk-cr2U7JVdNMgGKVFwwMtrxFnDobPtji4B/s4000/Sausage%20breakfast%20casserole.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOzDeDzrhrMYsLfmtSx6C8BCF77e9ko8weiX7zkfu75hPPfSdDkPplox2Mg5VsnNQ_iJN3UzYJUu8jD4OFtBz8LHO-JEIC2FeGeiXpO_AwqG0cuDBtetnHO_DBdpbW7aLrC3WqdVtxSqpwmmirH_UwVIk-cr2U7JVdNMgGKVFwwMtrxFnDobPtji4B/w640-h480/Sausage%20breakfast%20casserole.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-22220306196100273192022-06-25T09:10:00.000-07:002022-06-25T09:10:34.833-07:00Air Fried Salmon Belly<p> I love my air fryer, I use it all the time. I purchased some salmon belly at a local Asian market the other day and decided to air fry it, because why not? It turned out delicious and not just because salmon belly is super yummy. The air fryer keeps the salmon moist on the inside and crisp on the outside, making for the perfect salmon. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHXHQziworlkwGMhYOJg6sqKEUt_PPdXQOb02_56xqGtXX9Z2vdWpXp_QRYQPf54nZ3pKE9bTQUiM8CoIHwalCUPiPy_zH3IcgPqNy73P1Pzn3SS67mFWGG4tif3Ff0hdeKlei85drJbT1yLSjOTdWsYB0Vi4vi0V7uFNOXkFPGEESaH9KJzFzggBW/s3598/Salmon%20Bellies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3598" data-original-width="2436" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHXHQziworlkwGMhYOJg6sqKEUt_PPdXQOb02_56xqGtXX9Z2vdWpXp_QRYQPf54nZ3pKE9bTQUiM8CoIHwalCUPiPy_zH3IcgPqNy73P1Pzn3SS67mFWGG4tif3Ff0hdeKlei85drJbT1yLSjOTdWsYB0Vi4vi0V7uFNOXkFPGEESaH9KJzFzggBW/w434-h640/Salmon%20Bellies.jpg" width="434" /></a></div><br /><p><b><u>Air Fryer Salmon Belly</u></b></p><p>Marinade: </p><p>1/4 Cup of soy sauce</p><p>2 Tbs. Honey</p><p>1 Tsp. Chili garlic sauce</p><p>2 Tbs. Rice Vinegar</p><p>I mixed all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and then placed the salmon belly in the bowl to marinate for about an hour. I preheat the air fryer at 390 degrees. Placed the salmon belly in a single layer and cooked for about 6 minutes. You may have to cook your salmon belly in batches since you don't want to crowd your fryer. I served these with rice, yum!</p><p>If you have never had salmon belly it is pretty unctuous as you would imagine. It is fatty and tender and tastes amazing. </p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-50131629688137763972022-06-21T13:13:00.004-07:002022-06-21T13:13:32.983-07:00Restaurant Review: Be Good Restaurant & Experience<p> <a href="https://begoodrestaurants.com">Be Good Restaurant & Experience </a>opened up in Temecula a little before the covid shutdown. When I first visited Be Good, they were not offering the "experiences" due to still following covid protocols. However, that was not stopping this restaurant from being one of the busier places in Old Town Temecula, mostly because of their word of mouth Margarita flights. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTcddj9tRpc2nV56tUTm8w99AxOriYcBbcebuaI9Aw_cfTFscO6_PqlMpUKM7P0afU9R1E0kDxoevyU6W-Ztl8zU6xUP2XWyrBlxJ04Ar2CId1lyDKGHrPjN8eB70s31vzP2OGXwcZzDP2f_r8_O15-WlV4C71pE66uZ8A7pFZV7r8mnGaE_FYPo2d/s4032/20201009_115241.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1960" data-original-width="4032" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTcddj9tRpc2nV56tUTm8w99AxOriYcBbcebuaI9Aw_cfTFscO6_PqlMpUKM7P0afU9R1E0kDxoevyU6W-Ztl8zU6xUP2XWyrBlxJ04Ar2CId1lyDKGHrPjN8eB70s31vzP2OGXwcZzDP2f_r8_O15-WlV4C71pE66uZ8A7pFZV7r8mnGaE_FYPo2d/w640-h312/20201009_115241.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>The <b>Margarita flight</b> offers rotating flavors using house made sweet n sour, fruit purees and premium tequilas. I'm trying to remember what flavors were included in this flight but all I recall is the watermelon jalapeno one. They also offer an <b>Old Fashion flight</b> as well as a <b>Michelada flight</b>. The food is tasty but not anything amazing. It's good food to enjoy with a good cocktail, of which they also offer, Some of the food choices include:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbcF7_-GccLjuAYyz5EPYYhVoEVoa1s9fp1cZSSPTRcz8Ges-Ydu82ZReNXKJFDiMVYl8ZVCbgovNcwHUXsg7i8VUoS6PSoJoN8TA4ZfyaNQhp155QYJIPa45mwNCmJTXLdxJQ1yNcFdYDs9bZz48eWDicBsuhrYUs3o7RcOZW627dCvFwTpheODxx/s4032/20201009_120648.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1960" data-original-width="4032" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbcF7_-GccLjuAYyz5EPYYhVoEVoa1s9fp1cZSSPTRcz8Ges-Ydu82ZReNXKJFDiMVYl8ZVCbgovNcwHUXsg7i8VUoS6PSoJoN8TA4ZfyaNQhp155QYJIPa45mwNCmJTXLdxJQ1yNcFdYDs9bZz48eWDicBsuhrYUs3o7RcOZW627dCvFwTpheODxx/w640-h312/20201009_120648.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>their <b>Roasted Brussel Sprouts </b>served with a cilantro ranch, diablo sauce and Cotija mayo. This was initially tasty, at least while the cheese was still hot and gooey. Once it started to cool off it became a congealed cheese mess. I wonder if the addition of cream to thin it down a bit would make the melty consistency last a little longer. Otherwise if you order this make sure to eat it quick! Yes, that is a different Margarita flight in the background, again the flavors have eluded me. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8TUNmhsZ-Z5wZ0jj3hbTr8CY_Q-16jd8zhOOe15IX-10XmO5sKbF5FY_mSfaDwFFYnQKbJwQi5Ob8RC16PcrjQqd6-U2OwGm5NmyT_EPcp8dvjtlKfV6sx7iLEvkUviANAVPEGwxtXmQgTdNuehRRnRvfXWOQH1oZv38X3l8JXWLcbOMfLnk-uGEd/s4000/20220513_142213.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8TUNmhsZ-Z5wZ0jj3hbTr8CY_Q-16jd8zhOOe15IX-10XmO5sKbF5FY_mSfaDwFFYnQKbJwQi5Ob8RC16PcrjQqd6-U2OwGm5NmyT_EPcp8dvjtlKfV6sx7iLEvkUviANAVPEGwxtXmQgTdNuehRRnRvfXWOQH1oZv38X3l8JXWLcbOMfLnk-uGEd/w480-h640/20220513_142213.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div><br /></div>You can also order the <b>Diablo Cauliflower, </b>roasted cauliflower florets tossed in a diablo sauce and served with celery and carrot sticks and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. You know buffalo wings without the wings. These are actually pretty good. Or you can try their <b>Grilled Caesar Salad </b>with or without the addition of a protein. This one has carne asada on it. The salad has romaine lettuce that has been grilled to a slight char, Caesar dressing, Cotija cheese and and house made croutons. The grilled romaine was a little too warm and wilted for my liking but I did enjoy the char on it and the addition of the carne asada was a good choice. <div><br /></div><div>These are just a few examples of what you can find on the <a href="https://begoodrestaurants.com/menu/"><b>Be Good</b> menu</a>. They also offer a weekend brunch that I have yet to try. If you are looking for a fun place to socialize with friends this is your spot. They have also started offering their "experiences", which include things like Bubble Dome Dining, Dine in the Dark and a Murder Mystery Dining Show to name a few. </div><div><br /></div><div><b><a href="https://begoodrestaurants.com/">Be Good Restaurant and Experience </a></b></div><div><b>28636 Old Town Front St. Unit #109</b></div><div><b>Temecula, CA</b></div><div><b>951-428-1537<br /></b><p><br /></p></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-47718220584029040382022-06-14T10:33:00.005-07:002022-06-14T10:33:50.900-07:00Chacos!<p> <img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyrUt_kvCOKpRjN-gKBXqNmxbl3YBaCYSKl0dA4F0pHzduUPUJJtGHCXmB9JOztr_It2e6HT2jkVQtnbunB4tsTYTfRC6xZsQUaQIE7BpubmgOkRVUDf_vh91zfK8tknsps-V7YitNnNU2/w640-h360/Low+Carb+Tacos.jpg" style="border: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; height: auto; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; text-align: center;" width="640" /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center;"><div class="pinit-wrapper" style="cursor: pointer; left: 739px; margin: 0px; opacity: 0; padding: 0px; position: absolute; top: 490.547px; visibility: visible; z-index: 9999;"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http://lifeissooogood.blogspot.com/2015/11/chacos.html&media=https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyrUt_kvCOKpRjN-gKBXqNmxbl3YBaCYSKl0dA4F0pHzduUPUJJtGHCXmB9JOztr_It2e6HT2jkVQtnbunB4tsTYTfRC6xZsQUaQIE7BpubmgOkRVUDf_vh91zfK8tknsps-V7YitNnNU2/s400/Low+Carb+Tacos.jpg&description=" style="color: #c79b63; display: block; margin: 0px; outline: none; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><img class="pinimg" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho4KlQpd1FsTwofVwjID60TkU6XVzmNunYzH-ZnRXoNxzhVvoocsuhorCNPwFstfyosuzXVNo5HWbcSRWrNzrwMCX4MksU8_6sa1bGHJtxDd9ZfhyphenhypheneJG1QKdu5CEdQSoOkUDUMuzlw/s1600/pin+it+penelope.png" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 0px; box-shadow: none; height: 77px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; width: 77px;" title="Pin on Pinterest" /></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center;"><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">I made tacos today. It takes a little patience but they are so worth the wait. Take a thin slice of sandwich sized cheddar cheese and place it in a non stick pan. Cook the cheese on medium low heat. It will start to bubble and turn brown along the edges. Make sure you monitor the temperature, you don't want it to get to high and burn your cheese. Once the cheese bubbling starts to slow down, about 3 to 5 minutes, take a spatula and attempt to pick it up. If it is ready it will slide easily onto your spatula. If it doesn't give it a minute or so. Next is the fun part...drape the semi firm cheese slice over a wooden rolling pan to harden and create a shell for your chaco toppings. Be sure and place the rolling pin on top of some paper towels or a plate to collect any oil from the melted cheese. We topped ours with ground beef, lettuce, olives, sour cream hot sauce and crispy jalapenos. Tell me these don't look good!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-23366617143077738122022-06-14T10:25:00.002-07:002022-06-14T10:25:12.130-07:00Loosemeat Cheeseburgers<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsWrZQ0N1QY-VCHsHkkaSa35E68crhqHcsx0vJjdt0Ddo4BXL1YQQXx-YpZOMkm67n2tjNdpzI0IiVDh2V7R4evqKQ2gtTrd62AOPRRwvLx-q2fabR_jDIkMYTM-wxpqygWxVia7ORQKWO/s1600/Loosemeat+Cheeseburgers.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="color: #7f7f7f; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center; text-decoration-line: none;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsWrZQ0N1QY-VCHsHkkaSa35E68crhqHcsx0vJjdt0Ddo4BXL1YQQXx-YpZOMkm67n2tjNdpzI0IiVDh2V7R4evqKQ2gtTrd62AOPRRwvLx-q2fabR_jDIkMYTM-wxpqygWxVia7ORQKWO/w640-h480/Loosemeat+Cheeseburgers.JPG" style="border: none; height: auto; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px;" width="640" /></a></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: center;"><div class="pinit-wrapper" style="cursor: pointer; left: 739px; margin: 0px; opacity: 1; padding: 0px; position: absolute; top: 528.047px; visibility: visible; z-index: 9999;"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http://lifeissooogood.blogspot.com/2015/08/loosemeat-cheeseburgers.html&media=https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsWrZQ0N1QY-VCHsHkkaSa35E68crhqHcsx0vJjdt0Ddo4BXL1YQQXx-YpZOMkm67n2tjNdpzI0IiVDh2V7R4evqKQ2gtTrd62AOPRRwvLx-q2fabR_jDIkMYTM-wxpqygWxVia7ORQKWO/s400/Loosemeat+Cheeseburgers.JPG&description=" style="color: #c79b63; display: block; margin: 0px; outline: none; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><img class="pinimg" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho4KlQpd1FsTwofVwjID60TkU6XVzmNunYzH-ZnRXoNxzhVvoocsuhorCNPwFstfyosuzXVNo5HWbcSRWrNzrwMCX4MksU8_6sa1bGHJtxDd9ZfhyphenhypheneJG1QKdu5CEdQSoOkUDUMuzlw/s1600/pin+it+penelope.png" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 0px; box-shadow: none; height: 77px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; width: 77px;" title="Pin on Pinterest" /></a></div></div><br style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;" /><strong style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;"><u style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Loosemeat Cheeseburgers</u></strong><br style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;" /><strong style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;"><em style="font-weight: normal; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"></em></strong><br style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify;" /><span style="color: #222222; font-family: Cardo; font-size: 15px; text-align: justify;">1 lb. Once it was cooked and starting to get crispy I added the eggs, between 4 and 6 depending on how big they are and how much scramble you want to make. When the eggs are still a bit runny add about 1/2 a chopped tomato and 2 sliced green onions. When the eggs are cooked through add a small bunch of chopped cilantro and stir. Finally add some shredded cheddar cheese and melt. Serve topped with sour cream.</div></span><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><p></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6870263210731596520.post-85407692207418937582021-08-08T12:13:00.004-07:002021-08-08T12:13:52.121-07:00Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiao6MWbRJWMEViWUHGmYfdte-MHgNlT-iCoqPmdg-2WA5pmjNAIkUZmFWjyOSfCFmJ5jnUuWhlpekFfceq34v_iI7vcdY8KZc49doMDsnsRHGnjkvAO5aZp6tECKCgvUmWnhzVzFosCw/s2543/Shrimp+n+Broccoli.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1236" data-original-width="2543" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiao6MWbRJWMEViWUHGmYfdte-MHgNlT-iCoqPmdg-2WA5pmjNAIkUZmFWjyOSfCFmJ5jnUuWhlpekFfceq34v_iI7vcdY8KZc49doMDsnsRHGnjkvAO5aZp6tECKCgvUmWnhzVzFosCw/w640-h312/Shrimp+n+Broccoli.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p><b><u>Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry </u></b></p><p>1tbs.
