Restaurant Review- Devilicious Eatery

Do you recall seeing the Devilicious food truck on Season 2 of The Great Food Truck Race a couple of year ago? The food truck is still touring all around southern California but recently they opened up shop here in Old Town Temecula. The menu includes all their food truck favorites like Butter Poached Lobster Grilled Cheese and their Pork Belly Melt as well as several other appetizer, salad and sandwich options.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, oh did I mention they also serve brunch on Sundays?
There was so much on the menu I wanted to try and it was hard to pick. We decided to try the Bacon Wrapped Mac and Cheese appetizer.

It's gooey cheesy mac and cheese wrapped in bacon and deep fried, need I say more. These were delicious dipped in a Chipotle Aioli.

For my meal I ordered the Soft Shell Crab Club and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The club is a whole tempura battered soft shell crab on buttered sourdough toast with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and a Sriracha aioli. It was pretty good and filling, I only ate half. I think I would have enjoyed one of the other sandwiches a little more. The fries were tasty with just a hint of truffle but they could have been a bit more salted.

Chris ordered the Grilled Chicken Mole' sandwich. He loves Mole', but this wasn't the traditional Mole' sauce he was expecting. It was a pistachio Mole' on top of a grilled chicken breast with lettuce, tomato, onion and Cotija cheese on a brioche bun. He said it was very fresh tasting but had a strange herb flavor he couldn't quite figure out. He also wished he would have ordered a different sandwich but it was good non the less.

They also have  variety of local and craft beers on tap.

I recommend the Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout. It's delicious but very heavy and rich. You might want to order some after your meal as your dessert. Did I mention dessert? They have that too. The Smores'wich sounds especially dangerous. Nutella, marshmallow and chocolate sauce on butter toasted sourdough dusted with powdered sugar.

There is too much on the menu that sounds intriguing that I am sure we will be back a few times.
