Burgers and a Cocktail


Today's lunch consisted of these mouthwatering lettuce wrapped burgers. They are pretty simple and straightforward. Seasoned beef patties topped with your choice of toppings and then wrapped in lettuce leaves. These were topped with Colby jack cheese, ketchup, mustard, crisp bacon and red onion. The patties were seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic salt and Cajun seasoning.


Feel like a cocktail? Here is a refreshing and tart cocktail you can pair with your protein packed burger. Chris called it a "Kickstart My Tart".

Kickstart My Tart

2 parts Gin
1 part Vermouth
1 part Cointreau
1 part Lime juice
Simple syrup, depending on how tart you want it

Shake in cocktail shaker and serve on the rocks with a basil leaf garnish. Cheers!
