Pepper Relish


I was looking through one of my cookbooks the other day and spotted a recipe for Jalapeno Relish. I decided to try a variation of it with what I had on hand. It turned our pretty good! 

Pepper Relish 

6 large Jalapenos, chopped with seeds removed
6 Serrano peppers, chopped with seeds removed
1 Roma tomato, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
3 Garlic cloves, chopped
Small handful of Cilantro, chopped
1/4 tsp. Cumin
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. lime juice
Salt to taste

Put all ingredients into a food processer until finely minced. Add salt to your liking. Put into a container and store in the refrigerator for approximately a month. I had small half-pint jars and was able to fill three. This would taste great on hotdogs, especially bacon wrapped dogs!
