Zesty Sausage Patties


These are not just for breakfast, they are delicious anytime of the day! I served mine with an herb salad for a tasty lunch.

Zesty Sausage Patties

1 lb. Ground pork
1/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1 tsp. Paprika
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Sage
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Crushed red pepper

Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Form patties into golf ball sized balls and then flatten using the palms of your hands. In a frying pan heat some oil (enough to coat the bottom) at medium high heat. Fry patties until done, about 3 minutes per side flipping once should do the trick. If your patties are a little thicker you might leave them a couple minutes longer.
